Unprofessional management, rude security, lovely venue most of the time but had awful experience here and heard from many others the experience was shared not only on the night I was there but for years

Went to a wedding here. We were in our campervan and as the camping field was closed to the general public due to the wedding, we had the field to ourselves. OK, the facilities weren't the greatest and the field could do with mowing, but it was free! The venue is nice and rustic and the owner was always around to smooth the way. There is a problem for ladies wearing high heels: the courtyard is cobbled making elegant deportment rather difficult! All in all we liked it and enjoyed the wedding we were attending.

Fantastic historical past to the place, real character to the space and super friendly staff as well as an excellent choice of drinks and some really tasty food make this a spot I'll be coming back to far more often in future.

I went to a wedding at this place. It won't be everybody's cup of tea but I loved it. It's an old farm with a complex of buildings. There's a central garden with a large fig tree , a fire pit and a covered area which will suit smokers. Inside there is a large hall with an internal balcony and a long dining room which will comfortably seat 100 people. There's a large field you can camp in and ample parking. It's not at all fancy. It's a bit hippyish. There's a little Hobbit house with a round door and a turf roof in the garden. The staff were young and very pleasant and helpful. Groovy.

Authentic venue place if you have something to celebrate. Remember: No high heels if you don't want to get in trouble.
